Production Supervisor - diversified foods & seasonings

Purpose of the position
To achieve all scheduled batches and assigned production goals by training and managing a team of employees charged with properly preparing and packaging cooked foods that adhere to our Plant Mission Statement, while eliminating waste and ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory standards are adhered to.
Responsibilities & duties
?Responsibility 1 Developing and carrying out plans, in conjunction with the Sr. Production Manager, to execute the schedule in the safest and most economical way possible while maintaining an accurate Finished Case Yield and SVA at or above target.
?Responsibility 2 Utilizing thorough knowledge of cooking procedures and floor operations to oversee and train employees in all aspects of Production including, but not limited to: job duties, safety, documentation, HACCP, GMP, proper sanitation, machine operation, machine assembly, troubleshooting, cooking, packaging, and prep.
?Responsibility 3 Remaining up to date and knowledgeable about all products being cooked prior to and during production, including, but not limited to: packaging specs, platforms, ingredients, tools and equipment required, expected yield, and organoleptic product review criteria.
?Responsibility 4 Communicating professionally, both orally and in writing, with other employees (e.g. briefing Sr. Production Manager and other members of the team as needed, providing direction, resolving conflicts, or writing/delivering counselling records).
?Responsibility 5 Ensuring employees are maintaining clean and sanitary work areas at all times.
?Responsibility 6 Encouraging employee commitment to continuous improvement.
?Responsibility 7 Being familiar with processes and job requirements of all positions in the Production department and being capable of filling in for the Sr. Production Manager when absent.
?Responsibility 8 Performing other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift over 50 pounds and must have good solid back and knees with full mobility.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
